Light Pull and Small Bell Ropes

 We have our own miniature rope walk where we manufacture:
Model bell ropes

• These are our smallest range of bell ropes we do. There is no standard size for any of these. The smallest we normally produce is from a 2.5mm (1/8”) rope and 75mm (3”) long sallies 12mm (1/2”) diameter and upwards.
• As standard we make these from a buff brown hemp look polyester but can make them from natural fibre for the larger diameter ropes.

Light pull bell ropes - £39.00 each (inc VAT)

• These are always a favourite with bellringers. We have a standard design for these, they are suitable for the standard 8ft high ceiling and include an 8” long sally and 18” long tail end, tucked back to 12". We can make them longer or shorter as required. They include a plastic acorn on the top end of them to attach them to the pendant switch, there is no need to re-wire the switch.
• As standard we make these from natural fibre, but can make them from a buff brown polyester.
• Except around the lead up to Christmas we generally supply these made to order within 2-3 weeks.

Mini Ring Ropes

• There is no set standard for these. We make them to each customers requirements. We have a lot of experience producing these and can guide you through the selection process.
• Our mini ring ropes are made so they are very flexible and handle well. 
• As standard, our mini ring ropes DO NOT have splices above the sally, which risks bumping on ceiling bosses. We can, if requested, put splices into the ropes to match others part of an existing set.
• We would normally suggest a matt buff brown (or matt white) polyester rope which we 'in house' pre-stretch post manufacture. The polyester has the advantage of not being affected by the weather remaining flexible and is resistant to rotting. 
• To be able to provide a quotation and subsequent order, we need to know
  • length above the sally
  • length and diameter of the sally
  • (untucked) length of the tail end
  • the material required polyester (white/brown)/natural fibre.

Both light pulls and model bell ropes are not aimed to be used for ringing on full circle bells, they are designed for decorative effect and demonstration.

As we make all of the above ropes to order, we can adjust lengths, diameters, gauges, materials to suit your individual requirements.

All our small bell ropes are sent out via Royal Mail 2nd class postage at their current rates - £3.50 per package.
